History of Fischbeck Welding, Inc.
FOUNDED BY
Roy Fischbeck
In 1959, Roy Fischbeck opened a welding repair shop, Fischbeck Tractor and Welding, on the corner of Castell and Nacogdoches in New Braunfels, Texas . The focus was repairing farm implements and tractors for local farmers. In 1979, his grandson, Keith Wersterfer, began working full time. The business began to expand and diversify to include small manufactured items and structural components. Fischbeck Welding became incorporated in 1991. With growth, the business was relocated to include more equipment and a larger area for fabrication. Keith’s vision developed the family business into a structural steel fabrication company which has continued to evolve while serving South Central Texas with its industrial and commercial growth.

From the modest beginning, Fischbeck Welding, Inc. has worked diligently to serve customers and gain recognition as a leader in the structural steel fabrication industry. The family owned and operated company still stands strong, based on the principles and character of its founder, as it strives to meet the needs of today’s industry.
Fischbeck Welding, Inc. is a two time NuHeights Design Award winner.
